1- What's the rush? - (Por que a pressa?)
What's the rush? We have a plenty of time!
Por que a pressa? Temos tempo de sobra!

2- To speak one's mind - (Dizer o que pensa)
You can't always speak your mind. Sometimes you have to keep your opinions to yourself.
Nem sempre você pode dizer o que pensa. Às vezes é preciso guardar suas opiniões para si mesmo.

3- The last straw - ("a gota d'água", o limite em uma situação)
His boss said to him that his third delay in a row was the last straw and gave him the ax.
Seu chefe lhe disse que o seu terceiro atraso consecutivo foi a gota d'água e o mandou embora.

*Give someone the ax: Mandar alguém embora, despedir
